I added 5 presets to a color, selected the color and then attempted to select the 5th preset in the color with the same clip, but nothing happens.ĭo you think a specific color is associated with a 'Bank' or is the ability to trigger presets with anything other than the mouse removed from Guitar Rig 6. This does seem to indicate that when it imports GR5 presets with the option it just leaves them where they are (in GR5 folder) and just adds them to GR6 library.
In Guitar Rig 6, instead of adding presets to 'tags', you add them to the 'color dots'. UPDATE: did a little more experimenting and managed to get remove the presets by a) removing them from the GR5 folder and then b) shutting down and restarting GR6. This clip will trigger 'Pgm 5' within the 'tag' 'Band Practice' In short, you add the presets you want to a 'tag' within Guitar Rig 5 and then have the dummy clip trigger the specified program (image below). The method of mapping presets is outlined in this video. Big fan of Guitar Rig and had everything set up in Guitar Rig 5 so that I could trigger a clip on an Ableton Push to change the preset but it appears that Guitar Rig 6 has eliminated this possibility.
